A fresh new design celebrating Ru Freeman’s works and Sri Lankan roots

Ru Freeman is a Sri Lankan born writer and activist whose creative and political work has appeared internationally, including in the UK Guardian, The Boston Globe, and the New York Times. As an author of multiple books, a prolific writer for various sources, and an activist for human rights, Ru needed a new online presence to house a diverse range of content, highlight her books, and showcase her various media interviews. We crafted a clean and modern design, but also ensured to include touches of Ru’s Sri Lankan roots.
