We love books! We’ve had the privilege of working with many amazing authors and publishers to help them share their stories. There’s nothing quite like the thrill of launching a new book, and we’re excited to be part of that journey.

We’ve been creating websites for nearly twenty years, giving us valuable insights into what works and what doesn’t. Our mission is to support those who feel overwhelmed by the process of creating a site or brand, or to assist in redesigning what they already have. GORDON & LORISSA are the duo behind Being Wicked. We’ve been working together for over 20 years. If you contact Being Wicked, you’ll hear directly from one of us, and probably both! As a small agency, we are hands-on and directly involved in every project. There’s no outsourcing here.

Gordon, Coder

Makes it work.

Gordon has been coding since he discovered he could update games on his Commodore 64 using BASIC. He’s since graduated to more advanced languages but still has a soft spot for that old machine.

When not wrangling his fast-growing kids, he’s usually writing, coding, woodworking, or hiking.

Lorissa, Designer & Photographer

Obsessed with books & dogs.

Lorissa is an expat from South Africa, now calling the U.S. home. She began crafting websites back in high school during the ’90s and is passionate about cohesive, beautiful design. With over 20 years of experience, Lorissa is dedicated to creating websites that are visually captivating and user-friendly. She also specializes in building impactful brands that leave a lasting impression.

When not immersed in all things design, you’ll find her reading voraciously, making yet another cup of coffee for the day, or entertaining her adorably demanding dogs. A passionate advocate for animal rights, she volunteers with several organizations within her local Charlotte community.
