Many authors do readings when they launch a new book, but considering John Twelve Hawks’s “off the grid” living, it made sense for him to do something a little different. Fans were invited to be John Twelve Hawks for a night. The videotaped events were reviewed by John and then added to the site. Two live events were also streamed on the site using Livestream.com to celebrate the launch of Hawks’s third and final book in the Fourth Realm trilogy, The Golden City. We designed and developed a site that was fitting with the Fourth Realm trilogy, but focused on The Golden City, and allowed John and his agents to easily upload videos and content as needed.
